Thousand Islands Secondary School is grateful for the support of our various community partners who generously provide awards and bursaries to our graduates at our annual grade 12 graduation ceremony in June.
Graduation awards and bursaries at TISS fall under two categories:
1. INTERNAL: Awards selected by the school awards committee comprised of TISS staff. Students need to complete one application form (the “Internal Application Form”) to be considered for any of the many awards that fall under this category.
2. EXTERNAL: Awards selected by the donor. These awards require a separate application for each and have their own specific criteria which can be found on each application form. Students should only apply for awards in this category if they fully meet the criteria. Completed application forms will be forwarded to the donors by school staff on behalf of the students.
PROCESS: Application forms will be emailed to student email accounts throughout the spring.
DEADLINE: Submission information will be provided on each application form. Most application forms will be due by 11:59 p.m. on April 20 annually unless otherwise communicated.
National Awards NOT Run Through the TISS Graduation Awards Program:
